Full Professor, Department of Economics, Université de Sherbrooke

Alain Webster is full professor in the Department of Economics at Université de Sherbrooke. He was previously a member of the Université de Sherbrooke’s Executive Committee from 2007 to 2017 as Vice-Rector, Administration and Sustainable Development, then Vice-Rector, Sustainable Development and Government Relations.

Professor Webster has a background in ecology and economics and his main research interests are in the use of economic instruments in managing climate change and in implementing sustainable development strategies.
