President and CEO, AQCPE

President and CEO of AQCPE since 2011, Louis Senécal is responsible for all strategic deployment and national operations. In this capacity, he passionately defends the interests not only of CPE/BCs, but also of toddlers, who are at the heart of his initiatives and concerns. A father of two boys himself, he has a constant concern for bringing early childhood back to the forefront of Quebecers’ priorities.

Initially a lawyer in private practice, he subsequently accumulated 16 years of experience in general management, human resources management and labour relations in the media and the arts. On the academic front, in addition to his bachelor’s degree in law and his master’s degree in business administration (MBA), he completed a minor in psychology as well as international leadership training from the Corporate Leadership Council at the Chicago Business School.
