Civil Engineer and Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal

Martin Trépanier is a civil engineer and full professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal. He is co-director of the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur les réseaux d’entreprise, la logistique et le transport (CIRRELT). He has participated in several research projects on intelligent transportation systems, transportation planning, operational logistics and the use of large data sets: smart cards, car sharing, GPS tracks. He has been working since the beginning within the Mobility Chair on Sustainability in Transport. He has also collaborated on several research projects at CIRANO with Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, VP CIRANO Risk and Sustainable Development Group.
