Professor of physics and holder of the Canada Research Chair in Numerical Physics of Complex Materials at Université de Montréal.
Academic director of the Trottier Energy Institute at Polytechnique Montréal
Normand Mousseau is a theoretical physicist interested in a number of questions related to physics and science in general. His research includes the study of complex materials, proteins as well as energy and natural resources and, since September 2016, he is Academic director of the Trottier Energy Institute at Polytechnique Montréal. In 2013, he had the honor of co-chairing the Quebec Commission on Energy Issues. Its report was published at the beginning of 2014.
