Yvan Foster is Director of Business Development for the Health and Life Sciences Sector at IBM Canada. He is part of a pan-Canadian team and is based in Quebec City. He has been working in the field of information technology and telecommunications for more than 33 years. In 1998, he oriented his career towards the health and life sciences field, first as a technology specialist, then as an architect and consultant for the design and marketing of IT solutions for the health sector. He is associated with the design and implementation of several infrastructure projects related to the Dossier Santé Québec (DSQ). Since 2011 he has focused his activities on innovative solutions related to the fields of analytics, mobility, Internet of Things and cognitive computing.
