Vice President, Intact Lab – Data Science

Ashraf began his career at Intact in 2008. During the first 8 years of his career as an actuary, he held various underwriting positions in personal and commercial insurance. He joined the Data Laboratory following its creation in 2016 where he led cutting-edge initiatives and helped the laboratory grow and become a centre of innovation at Intact.

Achraf currently holds the role of Vice President – Data Science, where he has the privilege of managing data science teams that develop artificial intelligence solutions and contribute to Intact’s goals of growth, profitability and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
