Government Relations, CGI
In a career spanning over 12 years, Alexandre has always been working where politics meet business. After studying political science at the Université de Montréal, he worked as a consultant, then for the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and for the government of Québec before joining CGI in 2014. He now advises the company’s upper management on government relations.
Passionate about public policy, economics, and media, his work has allowed him to tackle a wide array of issues such as metropolitan governance, mining taxation, IP in the biopharma industry, nuclear waste management, international trade agreements, entrepreneurship, or the financing of transport infrastructure.
Always involved in his community, he is a member of the board of the Théâtre de la LNI, the oldest improv theatre company in Québec. He also was a member of the Campaign Cabinet for Centraide of Greater Montreal (United Way) as the president of NextGen committee.
