Audrey Maheu is professor in the Department of Natural Sciences at the Université du Québec en Outaouais and a researcher at the Institut des Sciences de la forêt tempérée. Her research in ecohydrology seeks to i) understand and predict how water and energy circulate in the environment and ii) how this influences the functioning of forest and aquatic ecosystems. Audrey holds a Ph.D. in water sciences from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in hydrology at Laval University. She has also worked as an environmental indicator specialist at Environment Canada and as a research intern at the International Development Research Center (IDRC).
