Strategy and Corporate Finance Group Manager, Power Corporation of Canada

Connor Lyons is a Manager in the Strategy and Corporate Finance group at Power Corporation of Canada. He works on corporate development across the firm’s operating and investment platforms, and brings expertise in life insurance and pensions, wealth management, alternative asset management, and the adoption of artificial intelligence to drive business value within enterprise financial services. Among other activities, Connor works with leadership across Power’s investments to develop data and analytics capabilities that drive business value, often using machine learning or other AI techniques. As a result, Connor is particularly interested in understanding how the increased adoption of AI will impact organizational behavior in large organizations.

Previously, Connor worked at Bain & Company, where he was a member of the Private Equity Group and supported clients across the financial services and energy industries. He has also spent time in various public and non-profit sector roles across Canada, the United States, and Southeast Asia. Connor is a graduate of the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government and Ivey Business School.
