Diego Mena has been working as Director of Knowledge Transfer and Development of Community-Based Social Pediatrics at the Fondation du Dr. Julien (Quebec) since 2012.
Committed and passionate about the causes of change and social equity, this Ecuadorian of Ecuadorian origin did all his studies in France until obtaining a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Negotiation at the University of Paris Sceaux. He worked for 5 years at the office of the Swiss Confederation’s international cooperation agency in Quito, where he was responsible for the knowledge management of projects in a phasing-out context. Guided by his desire to deepen his knowledge, he arrived in Montreal in 2010 to study at HEC Montreal in management and sustainable development, which led him to work later at the David Suzuki Foundation in Quebec.
Diego Mena is co-author of the document codifying social pediatrics in the community in Quebec, the book Local actors: the true protagonist of their own development and the literature review on the integration of sustainable development in management training published in the Cahiers de recherche du Groupe interdisciplinaire sur le développement durable at HEC Montréal.
