Emmanuelle Létourneau, is a lawyer who holds a master’s degree in business law from Université de Montréal and a certificate in corporate governance from Université Laval. In 2016, she founded Létourneau Gouvernance entreprenante, offering governance services to NPOs, SMEs and large corporations.
Her trajectory has led her from highly regulated governance of public corporations to governance tailored to private companies with the objective of creating value. Thus, she is interested in corporate governance from all angles, not only regulatory, but also and above all as a growth engine for a company. Before launching her own company, her career path took place in a financing context. He started in a start-up company in 2000 and continued at Bombardier Transportation, the capital market of the Autorité des marchés financiers, the National Bank of Canada and Desjardins Capital.
She is the author of the reference book “Corporate Governance: Legal Perspectives” published in 2007 by Éditions Yvon Blais/Thomson Reuters and updated in 2015.
