Psychologist and PhD Candidate in Behavioural Neuroscience of Sexual Behaviour, Concordia University
Gonzalo R. Quintana Zunino is a Psychologist and PhD candidate in Behavioural Neuroscience of Sexual Behaviour at Concordia University. He is also part of the first cohort of Public Scholars of Concordia, as well as the executive bargaining officer for the teaching and research assistants union of Concordia, TRAC.
His research endeavours are centered on the exploration of the mechanisms behind sexual behaviour, particularly focused on partner choice, fetishes, and orgasm. He has published several scientific articles, and presented in numerous conferences. Furthermore, he has also peer-reviewed manuscript submitted for different journals, as well as grant application for a Chilean scientific funding agency.
As a Public Scholar, Mr. Quintana Zunino has seated in expert panels, interviewed for different podcasts, written several opinion articles for different journals, among others. As a young communicator, he actively volunteers and promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge to the general public in Spanish and English, through his opinion articles and social media accounts.
