Guillaume Nolin works as a Senior Analyst in the Financial Markets Department of the Bank of Canada, in Ottawa. In this role, he conducts research on fixed income and currency markets. His analytical work also pertains to monetary policy and financial stability. Before that, he worked as an analyst at State Street Global Advisors as well as at the International Center for the Prevention of Crime. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Université de Montréal; he previously graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree (Jt. Hons.) in Economics and Finance. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Guillaume is a member of the board of the Outaouais section of the Association des économistes québécois (ASDEQ). For several years, he was the president of the board of CISM 89,3 FM, a university radio station where, since 2003, he hosts a weekly show focused on electronic music.
