Project Director, Foreign Investment and Co-Head of Cybersecurity, Montréal International
Gwenaelle Thibaut is Project Director at Montréal International, the economic development agency for the Greater Montréal area. She is responsible for attracting and retaining foreign investment in the Greater Montréal area, and this, for the Midwestern United States.
Prior to joining Montréal International, Gwenaelle spent several years representing major corporations in labour and employment law with the law firms of Norton Rose Fulbright and Heenan Blaikie.
Gwenaelle is committed to the representation of women in the business community and has been selected to be part of the 2019 cohort of the Pink Ties – Concertation Montréal. She is also co-founder of MTL2B, a peer mentoring group that brings together 12 young leaders (men and women) from different business sectors.
Actively involved in her community, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Missions commerciales de l’Université Laval since 2015. She is also an active figure on Montreal’s cultural and philanthropic scene. She participates in various charitable activities and is President of the Philanthropes du premier acte du Théâtre du Rideau vert.
