Capacity Building Advisor for the Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program, Federation of Canadian Municipalities

Jean-Patrick Toussaint is a Capacity Building Advisor for the Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program at Federation of Canadian Municipalities, with over 15 years of experience in environmental sciences and project management. He previously worked at the David Suzuki Foundation as Science Project Manager on environmental awareness and policies. He also worked with Future Earth as Science Officer, fostering Knowledge-Action Networks on urbanization and natural assets. He is a presenter for The Climate Reality Project Canada and has served as a board member for the Conseil Régional de l’Environnement de Montréal and for Avant Garde – CIRANO. Jean-Patrick has a background in ecology and holds a PhD in plant and soil sciences from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
