Senior Researcher, Chair in Energy Sector Management, HEC Montréal

Johanne Whitmore is Senior Researcher at the Chair in Energy Sector Management at HEC Montréal. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of energy and climate policies, as well as on optimal approaches to balancing energy production and consumption. Her expertise is put to work on several committees and initiatives in the private, government and university sectors, including the energy working committee of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec and the Institut EDDEC. She is vice-chair of the Stakeholder Table of Energy Transition Québec and co-author of the État de l’énergie au Québec.
