Director of Renewable Natural Gas Development, Énergir
Mathieu Johnson is Director of Renewable Natural Gas Development at Energir. He is in charge of a team whose mission is to accelerate the development of renewable natural gas in Quebec, in particular by supporting municipalities and private companies in their biomethanization projects. The team also works in collaboration with various public and private partners in the development of new technologies related to second- and third-generation renewable natural gas.
Prior to joining Energir, Mathieu worked in management consulting for KPMG-SECOR and Roland Berger in Canada and Europe. He accompanied several large companies in their growth strategies and other development issues. He also worked 7 years as a manager for service companies. He holds a degree in finance and economics from HEC Montréal.
Finally, Mathieu sits on the Board of Directors of Tennis Montreal, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and make tennis accessible in Montreal.
