President of the Association of MBA Students (AEMBA), HEC Montréal
Passionately curious, Simon Dandavino is an authentic young leader with an outstanding international experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, a Master’s degree in Electronics from the Technical University of Denmark, and a PhD in Science from EPFL, Switzerland. He has also worked in design and manufacturing process monitoring at DALSA Semiconductor, and directed for two years the Space Engineering Center at EPFL.
Since 2017, he has been pursuing a full-time MBA at HEC Montréal where he is particularly involved in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and social innovation projects. President of the MBA Students’ Association (AEMBA), he heads the executive committee and a team of directors of some twenty students.
Simon is particularly concerned with issues of equity, inclusion and social responsibility. He firmly believes that technological innovation can be a tool that can help solve these societal issues.
