Senior Strategy Advisor, Desjardins General Insurance

Tarek Bouaabdalli is a Senior Strategy Advisor at Desjardins General Insurance. He leads major strategic reflections in property and casualty insurance with a pan-Canadian scope. In addition, his team works closely with other Desjardins Group sectors to ensure strong organizational alignment.

Before joining Desjardins General Insurance, Tarek worked in strategy consulting for KPMG-SECOR and PMP. He had the opportunity to accompany several major companies in Canada, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, mainly in the telecom and financial services sectors. The projects in his consulting career have been very varied, ranging from the optimization of telecom network investments and the analysis of financial partnerships between operators, to the launch of 100% digital brands and the design of digital transformations. He holds a degree in finance and accounting from McGill University.

Tarek is also active in his community, including involvement with the non-profit organization “CivitasX” and the “Partners Walk” event organized by the Aga Khan Foundation.
