Vanessa Cherenfant is an entrepreneur, engineer and proud STEMinist. After starting her career as a consultant in operational performance optimization, she founded in 2013, Elysia, a platform based on artificial intelligence to personalize the travel experience, a startup for which she was recognized as an entrepreneur creating the most innovative technology by SAP & YES Montreal. Continuing her momentum as an intrapreneur, in 2015 she joined Officevibe, a startup that enables companies to improve employee engagement at work and becomes a key element of its commercial success, attracting world-class organizations such as Ubisoft, Disney, Bose, CAE and others as clients. Since 2018, Vanessa has been General Manager of Cogia, a technology services firm that helps small and medium-sized businesses in their digital transformation.
Strongly involved in the business community for the advancement of young people and the representation of women in technology, she works with organizations such as Technovation, Academos and the New World Institute. Vanessa is the 2018 winner of the Women’s Y Foundation Women in Technology Award, finalist of the 18th edition of the Québec Business Women’s Award, which recognizes excellence in business in Québec.
